Education and Engagement Senior Practitioner
This position is responsible for the development, coordination, delivery and evaluation of programs and professional education designed to create healthier, safer and more equal communities for women in Qld. As a leadership role, the Senior Practitioner will coordinate, oversee and report on the work across the Health and Equality Team, and provide guidance and support to other staff.
Internships and Student Placements
Women’s Health and Equality Queensland accepts applications from university students for placements and internships throughout the year. These run alongside semester dates with an intake at the start of the year for first semester, and another mid-year for second semester. Applications should be emailed to admin@wheq.org.au, including a CV and cover letter addressing the EOI below, or enquire through your university’s placement program. We accept students in all areas of our organisation (for Social Work, Masters of Social Work, Bachelor of Counselling and Masters of Counselling the preference is final year placement).

Reference Group
WHEQ are developing a reference group and would like to invite women and people of diverse genders who may be interested in being a member of this group. The aim of this group is to enable WHEQ to engage meaningfully with women from our community to assist in our decision-making process or support continuous improvement. This reference group will include community members and participants, including victim/survivors of gendered violence.
