Women’s Wellbeing Practitioner (Part-time): This position provides specialist domestic, family, and sexual violence counselling, alongside therapeutic group services which aim to support the safety and wellbeing needs of women. This support may be provided face-to-face, via telephone or using virtual interfaces.

Internships and Student Placements

Women’s Health Queensland accepts applications from university students for placements and internships throughout the year. Applications should be emailed to admin@womenshealth.org.au, including a CV and cover letter addressing the EOI below, or enquire through your university’s placement program.  We accept students in all areas of our organisation (for Social Work, Masters of Social Work and Masters of Counselling the preference is final year placement).

Reference Group

WHQ are developing a reference group and would like to invite women and people of diverse genders who may be interested in being a member of this group. The aim of this group is to enable WHQ to engage meaningfully with women from our community to assist in our decision-making process or support continuous improvement. This reference group will include community members and participants, including victim/survivors of gendered violence.
